lyrics

The Eye of the Hurricane is home It’s where we all came from And it’s where we’re gunna go, Don’t you know?
We ventured out into the great unknown
Our memories left upon a pillow throne And carved a life out in the sand And tried our very best to understand Something new.
Oh I wonder what you’ve seen Cuz I’m Still looking, for you, But I’ve got some clues to hide from you.
The Eye of the Hurricane is home It’s where all is lost when everything is whole And the dark becomes the doorway into all you love From everything you’ve loathed And I know you know
So though your ropey rhymes jump out of time And tie your violet heart to mine For just a couple seconds of your life A diamond truth is buried in the sound That melts your sand castle to the ground
All you half human beings Yeah its so funny to be split like crowney seed wings So funny to exist beneath the mist Oh sweet feminine negative bliss Waves are rising Butterfly unt’where the Eye of the Hurricane is home
The Eye of the Hurricane is home Its where we all came from And it’s where we’re gunna go Don’t you know? Yeah I know and you know...
How every pip can understand that cherry trees can dream a dream of wet sand leaving Donkey Eyes beneath the feet we travellers keep here on this beach below the sky lit shore you saw before the bean could cross the ocean all alone in the honeycomb of her backbone which breaks when tones of bells and stones are dropped on leaves on weeds and seeds in paper boats to make them bob and bow and loose their grip and trip beyond the streams of yonder woods and up the roots beneath my foot.
The Eye of the Hurricane is home A secret spark lit place inside the night
Where you and I keep all we’ve ever known Just let me know when you wanna go back home.
